We are looking for a skilled AV Technician to set up and operate media equipment such as LCD projectors, speakers, TVs, video monitors, and recording equipment. The AV Technician will be responsible for recording meetings and presentations with video cameras, operating spotlights, adjusting amplifiers, coordinating graphics used in displays and providing technical support for teleconferences, webinars, and distance learning classes. The ideal candidate should be able to creatively troubleshoot and solve technical issues, ensure the equipment is stored safely and maintained regularly. The candidate should also be able to manage inventory of equipment, including documenting usage, maintaining records, and repairing or replacing damaged equipment. The AV Technician will also be responsible for training other staff to operate equipment and should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
