We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Chief Flight Instructor to lead our flight training department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of flight instruction, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and training quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive flight experience, and a passion for developing the next generation of pilots. As the Chief Flight Instructor, you will manage a team of flight instructors, develop and implement training programs, and ensure that all flight operations are conducted in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies. You will also be responsible for evaluating instructor performance, conducting check rides, and maintaining training records. Your role is critical in ensuring that students receive the best possible training and are fully prepared for their pilot certifications. You will work closely with the Director of Operations, Safety Officer, and other key personnel to ensure that training programs are aligned with organizational goals and safety standards. You will also serve as a mentor and role model for both instructors and students, fostering a culture of professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have a current Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate, with CFII and MEI ratings preferred. A minimum of 2,000 total flight hours and at least 500 hours of dual instruction given is required. Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a flight training organization is highly desirable. This is a full-time position based at our flight training facility.
