As an Environment Artist, you will be responsible for crafting visually stunning and immersive environments that enhance storytelling and gameplay experiences. You will collaborate closely with designers, animators, and programmers to ensure that the environments you create are not only visually appealing but also functional and optimized for performance.
In this role, you will utilize your artistic skills and technical knowledge to build detailed 3D models, textures, and lighting setups that bring virtual worlds to life. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of composition, color theory, and environmental storytelling to effectively communicate mood, atmosphere, and narrative context through your work.
Your responsibilities will include creating concept art and sketches to visualize ideas, modeling and texturing assets, setting up lighting and post-processing effects, and optimizing assets for real-time rendering. You will also be responsible for maintaining consistency in art style and quality across different environments and levels.
The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in creating realistic and stylized environments, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Our studio fosters a supportive and inclusive work environment where collaboration, communication, and teamwork are highly valued. We believe that diverse perspectives and experiences enrich our creative process and lead to better outcomes for our projects.
