We are looking for a talented and creative Film Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of storytelling, and a passion for film. You will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects. Responsibilities

- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
- Create rough and final cuts
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency
- Collaborate with directors and producers to determine the final creative direction for each project
- Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video editing
- Work with our team to review all final cuts to ensure they match the project's overall vision
Requirements

- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
- Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography or related field
- Ability to work to a tight schedule and meet deadlines
