We are looking for a Foundation Engineer to join our team and lead the analysis, design, and evaluation of foundation systems for a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects. This role is essential to ensuring that buildings, bridges, industrial facilities, retaining structures, and other civil assets are supported by safe, efficient, and code-compliant foundations suited to site-specific ground conditions. The ideal candidate combines strong geotechnical understanding with practical structural and construction knowledge, allowing them to develop reliable solutions for shallow foundations, deep foundations, ground improvement, excavation support, and settlement control.
As a Foundation Engineer, you will work closely with geotechnical engineers, structural engineers, architects, contractors, surveyors, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle. You will review soil investigation reports, interpret subsurface conditions, perform engineering calculations, and recommend appropriate foundation types based on loading, environmental factors, constructability, cost, and long-term performance. You will also contribute to risk assessments related to bearing capacity, differential settlement, groundwater, lateral earth pressures, and seismic or dynamic loading where applicable.
In this position, you will prepare technical designs, specifications, reports, and drawings that align with local regulations, industry standards, and client requirements. You may support tender documentation, respond to technical queries during procurement, and provide construction-phase guidance to ensure that foundation systems are installed according to design intent. Site visits and coordination with field teams may be required to verify conditions, review installation methods, assess unexpected subsurface issues, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Success in this role requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You should be comfortable using engineering software, interpreting laboratory and field test data, and balancing safety, performance, sustainability, and budget considerations. Experience with pile foundations, mat foundations, spread footings, retaining systems, and soil-structure interaction is highly valuable.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving technically challenging ground and foundation problems while contributing to durable, resilient, and high-quality built environments. If you are motivated by precision, collaboration, and practical engineering impact, this role offers the chance to shape critical structural support systems from concept through construction.
