We are looking for a Head Shepherd who will serve as the spiritual leader of the congregation and oversee its overall direction. The Head Shepherd is responsible for the church's vision, spiritual growth, and community building. They serve as a role model in faith and lead both staff and volunteers toward shared goals. The Head Shepherd's duties include preaching, teaching, and guiding the congregation according to the Bible. They are responsible for planning and conducting worship services and actively participating in prayer life and pastoral care. The Head Shepherd also acts as a liaison with other churches, organizations, and societal actors. Success in this role requires a strong spiritual calling, theological education, and experience in church work. The Head Shepherd works closely with the church board, staff, and members. They must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to inspire and lead, and a desire to serve. The Head Shepherd is also responsible for administrative tasks such as budgeting, human resources, and strategic development. They monitor the state of the congregation and develop activities to meet changing needs. The Head Shepherd represents the church publicly and acts in accordance with its values in all situations.
