  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for administration, existing programs, and proposed new sites.

  • Supervise the accounting department to ensure the proper functioning of all systems, databases, and financial software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of financial experience and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations in a nonprofit organization.
  • Experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies.
  • Significant experience in or knowledge of nonprofit accounting, including sophisticated fund and grant accounting, compliance, and reporting.
  • Experience working with information technology staff to manage finance and accounting software packages.
  • Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
