We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, support and maintenance of all functions of relational database systems. You will be in charge of ensuring the performance, availability, and security of clusters of Oracle instances. You will also be responsible for orchestrating upgrades, backups, and provisioning of database instances. You will work in coordination with our IT team and business to make sure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and to ensure high resilience and performance tuning.

  • Creating storage database structures with high-level security features.
  • Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company.
  • Setting up database user accounts.
  • Regularly updating the database security protocols.

  • Performing database performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Regularly updating the database management system (DBMS).
  • Implementing disaster recovery plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
  • Familiarity with the main data manipulation languages and the principles of database design.
  • Good knowledge of Oracle database, and physical database design.
  • Experience with RMAN, ASM, Oracle Data guard.
  • Experience with Oracle RAC, performance tuning will be considered a plus.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) would be a plus.
