We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Patient Transporter to safely and respectfully move patients within a hospital or healthcare facility. As a Patient Transporter, your primary responsibility will be to transport patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, or other assistive devices to designated locations. You must ensure the physical and emotional comfort of patients and interact with them in a kind and empathetic manner.
You will be required to transport patients to various departments such as operating rooms, radiology, laboratories, and wards. At times, you may need to communicate with patients’ family members and make quick, accurate decisions in emergency situations.
Your duties will also include keeping transport equipment clean and sanitized, following all safety protocols, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Adherence to hospital policies and procedures is essential.
This position requires physical fitness, patience, and a caring attitude. Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory; new candidates are encouraged to apply.
