We are looking for a dedicated Pediatric Allergist and Immunologist to join our healthcare team. As a Pediatric Allergist and Immunologist, you will specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of allergies, asthma, and immune system disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. Your expertise will help improve the quality of life for young patients suffering from a variety of allergic and immunologic conditions, including food allergies, eczema, hay fever, allergic rhinitis, asthma, primary immunodeficiencies, and autoimmune diseases.
You will work closely with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, develop individualized treatment plans, and educate families about managing chronic conditions. Your role will involve conducting detailed patient histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as skin prick tests, blood tests, and pulmonary function tests, and administering immunotherapy when appropriate.
In addition to clinical care, you will play a key role in educating patients and their families about allergen avoidance, medication use, emergency action plans, and the importance of adherence to treatment. You may also participate in research, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education to stay current with advances in pediatric allergy and immunology.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology is required, along with a valid medical license. Experience in managing complex allergic and immunologic disorders in children is highly desirable.
