We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant (PTA) to support our team in a public or hospital pharmacy. As a PTA, you play a central role in pharmaceutical care and significantly contribute to the health and safety of patients. You will work closely with pharmacists, prepare medications, dispense drugs, and advise customers on their use.
Your tasks include the preparation and testing of medications according to medical prescriptions or pharmaceutical standards. You will check the quality of the substances used and carefully document all work steps. In addition, you will advise patients on over-the-counter medications, dietary supplements, and health products. You will explain dosages, possible side effects, and interactions with other drugs.
In the compounding lab, you will work with modern equipment and strictly adhere to hygiene and safety regulations. You will also take on organizational tasks such as storing and ordering medications, checking expiration dates, and maintaining inventory systems.
Another important aspect of your work is collaboration with doctors, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers. You help ensure that patients receive optimal pharmaceutical care.
