We are looking for a dedicated and caring Preschool Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in managing preschool children and their activities.   • Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the teacher.
  • Help with meal and snack preparation, feeding children, modeling table manners at family style meals.
  • Perform housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, dish washing, and changing of linens.
  • Assist children with daily routines such as dressing, toileting, eating and resting.
  • Help children with general hygiene.
  • Provide comfort and support to children who are sick or upset.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of a developmentally appropriate preschool program.
  • Work with individual children, small groups and the whole class to guide interactions and learning.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
