We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Production Artist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with designers and art directors to refine designs and ensure that final prints reflect client specifications accurately. Your day-to-day tasks will include scaling, cropping, retouching, repositioning, and preflighting, or eliminating defective and questionable content from art files. You will also be tasked with creating PDFs for print and client review, packaging files for release to printers or media partners, and ensuring all phases of the project are completed on time. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the creative and production teams to execute the vision of the project while adhering to budget constraints and production schedules. This role requires a deep understanding of print production, digital file preparation, and the latest graphic design software.   • Collaborate with the creative team to refine and finalize designs.
  • Ensure all graphic elements are consistent in terms of style, colors, and message.
  • Adjust graphics and layouts as necessary based on feedback.
  • Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing.
  • Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.

  • Coordinate with external agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
  • Communicate with clients about layout and design.
  • Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
  • Research and recommend new software and design tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Production Artist, Graphic Designer, or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio of completed design projects.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
  • Knowledge of preflighting tools, PDF workflow, and printing processes.
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
