We are looking for a highly organized and creative Wardrobe Coordinator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of wardrobe and costume logistics for film, television, theater, or live events. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
As a Wardrobe Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with costume designers, directors, actors, and production staff to ensure that all wardrobe elements are delivered, maintained, and presented according to the creative vision of the project. You will oversee fittings, alterations, costume continuity, and the organization of wardrobe trailers or dressing rooms. Your role is essential in maintaining the visual integrity of characters and ensuring that costumes are functional, clean, and ready for each performance or shoot.
Key responsibilities include managing wardrobe budgets, sourcing and purchasing costume pieces, coordinating with dry cleaners and tailors, and maintaining detailed records of costume inventory and usage. You will also be responsible for supervising wardrobe assistants and ensuring that all costumes are labeled, stored properly, and transported safely between locations.
The successful candidate will have experience in costume or fashion design, wardrobe supervision, or a related field. A strong understanding of fabric types, garment construction, and costume history is highly desirable. You must be able to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes in production schedules.
This is a dynamic and rewarding position for someone passionate about storytelling through clothing and who thrives in collaborative, creative environments. If you have a flair for fashion, a meticulous approach to organization, and a love for the performing arts, we encourage you to apply.
