We are looking for a passionate and innovative Artist in Residence to join our creative team or partner institution for a fixed-term engagement. This role is designed to provide artists with the time, space, and resources to develop new work, engage with the community, and contribute to the cultural and artistic environment of the host organization. The Artist in Residence will be expected to produce original artwork, participate in public programming, and collaborate with staff, students, or community members depending on the nature of the residency. The ideal candidate will be a practicing artist with a strong portfolio and a clear vision for their residency project. They should be open to collaboration, community engagement, and sharing their creative process through workshops, talks, or exhibitions. The residency may be hosted by a museum, university, cultural center, or private organization, and may vary in length from a few weeks to several months. This position offers a unique opportunity for artists to immerse themselves in a new environment, explore new ideas, and expand their professional network. The Artist in Residence will have access to studio space, materials (as applicable), and a stipend or honorarium. In return, they are expected to contribute to the host’s mission by creating meaningful artistic experiences and leaving a lasting impact through their work. We welcome applications from artists working in a variety of disciplines, including but not limited to visual arts, performance, digital media, sound, and interdisciplinary practices. The residency may culminate in a public presentation, exhibition, or performance, depending on the artist’s medium and goals. This is an exciting opportunity for artists who are looking to grow professionally, engage with new audiences, and make a significant contribution to a vibrant creative community.
