We are looking for a dedicated, reliable Groundskeeper to maintain our outdoor spaces. The Groundskeeper will be responsible for all general maintenance tasks related to the garden including planting new trees, servicing garden machinery, conducting regular pruning and advising management of cost-effective methods. The ideal candidate will have a green thumb and will be passionate about plants and outdoor work. You will be physically fit and able to manage heavy loads. You will know how to use a range of equipment and machinery safely. The Groundskeeper will report directly to the Facilities Manager and will work harmoniously with other staff to ensure that our grounds are always at their best.

  • Maintain and grow the garden to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations.

  • Proven experience in a groundskeeping role.
  • Ability to handle a range of horticultural machinery and powered hand tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of plants and gardening techniques.
  • Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety rules and legislation.
  • Certification in horticulture or landscape design is a plus.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
