We are looking for a detail-oriented, curious, and methodical Reader who can analyze, understand, and interpret a wide range of written materials with accuracy and linguistic sensitivity. The Reader often works closely with editors, authors, teachers, researchers, content managers, or cultural production teams to provide precise and constructive observations. In some settings, the role may also involve reading aloud, conducting preliminary text reviews, identifying grammatical or stylistic issues, or assessing readability for specific target audiences. For this reason, excellent language skills, sustained concentration, critical thinking, and strong attention to detail are essential.
The ideal candidate has a genuine and professional passion for reading, can manage significant volumes of content, and maintains high quality standards even under deadlines. It is important to distinguish tone, structure, register, and communicative purpose within a text, while also delivering feedback that is clear, respectful, and useful for improving the material under review. In editorial or academic environments, the Reader may contribute to title selection, draft evaluation, or publication quality checks before release.
We are seeking someone organized, reliable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively with other professionals. Familiarity with different textual genres, strong command of language, and the ability to understand the cultural context of content are central to success in this role. Knowledge of digital tools for annotation, review, and document management is considered an advantage.
