We are looking for a Security Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building and implementing enterprise-class security systems for a production environment. They will align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy. This role includes identifying and communicating current and emerging security threats, designing a security architecture to mitigate these threats where possible, and creating, maintaining and handling the organization’s security architecture design. The Security Architect will also be required to liaise with vendors to implement security solutions.

- Minimum of 5 years experience in a related field
- Understanding of firewall and intrusion detection/prevention protocols
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, ethical hacking and threat modelling
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, computer networking, routing and switching
- Experience with network security and networking technologies
- Experience with system, security, and network monitoring tools
- Familiarity with web related technologies
- Professional security management certification
- Ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management
