We are looking for an experienced eLearning Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing eLearning solutions to meet our training needs. This includes creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer, working with subject matter experts and identifying target audience’s training needs, setting instructional end goals and creating content that matches them, and conducting instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts. The eLearning Specialist will also apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods, provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process, create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc), and devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar relevant field.
  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology.
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System.
  • Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard.
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with eLearning platforms.
