We are looking for a creative and innovative Learning Experience Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing effective learning experiences that meet the needs of our diverse learners. This includes creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer, working with subject matter experts and identifying target audience’s training needs. You will also be responsible for applying tested instructional design theories, practice and methods, providing exercises and activities that enhance the learning process, creating supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.), deciding on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and developing assessment instruments. The Learning Experience Designer will also maintain project documentation and course folders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar
  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System
  • Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
