We are looking for an experienced and creative Instructional Designer to join our team. As an Instructional Designer, your responsibility will be to create and implement educational programs for our clients. You will be responsible for designing engaging and effective learning content, creating supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.), and devising modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course. You will also be responsible for setting the learning objectives for the courses, ensuring the content matches those objectives, revising and rewriting content to shape it for learning needs, structuring content and activities for learning and retention, and developing a deep understanding of the target audience’s learning needs. You will also need to maintain project documentation and course folders.

  • Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience's training needs.
  • Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them.
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology.
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills.
  • Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge.
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System.
  • Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard.
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts.
  • BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar.
