We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our Finance and Accounting team.   • Monitor debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO.
  • Implement and maintain a process for managing customer credit files.
  • Negotiate payment plans with customers and set up loan terms and conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and communications with customers.
  • Ensure credit and collection policies and procedures are followed.
  • Liaise with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller, Collector, or similar role.
  • Understanding of billing procedures and collection techniques.
  • Familiarity with laws related to debt collection (e.g., FDCPA).
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and databases.
