We are looking for a Learning and Development Associate to help us create educational programs that will boost our workforce performance and productivity. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and improving the skills of our employees, for the ultimate benefit of our organization. The Learning and Development Associate will be responsible for conducting training needs analysis, designing and implementing training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with the ability to effectively describe complicated ideas to different audiences. You will have experience in project management and curriculum development. We expect you to be passionate about learning and development and to possess excellent time management skills. Your end goal will be to ensure our employees develop their skills and knowledge in order to perform better in their roles.

  • Conduct skills gap analyses
  • Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
  • Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
  • Track budgets and negotiate contracts
  • Hire and oversee training and L&D Specialists
  • Collaborate with stakeholders regarding instructional design
  • Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses
  • Translate requirements into trainings that will groom employees for the next step of their career path
  • Build annual training program and prepare teaching plans

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager or similar
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
  • Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
  • BSc degree in Education, Human Resources or relevant field
  • Professional certification (e.g. CIPD, CPLP) is a plus
  • Experience with instructional design is a plus
