We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Learning Specialist to join our team. The Learning Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing learning strategies and programs, evaluating individual and organizational development needs, implementing various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training), designing and delivering e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings, assessing the success of development plans and helping employees make the most of learning opportunities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning, with an ability to inspire others. They should be an excellent communicator, able to effectively interact with a diverse population of learners. They should also be organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Identify and assess future and current training needs
  • Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan
  • Deploy a wide variety of training methods
  • Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
  • Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
  • Manage training budget
  • Provide opportunities for ongoing development
  • Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary

  • Proven work experience as a Learning Specialist
  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
  • Good computer and database skills
  • BS degree in education, human resources or relevant field
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the job
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
