We are looking for a motivated Human Resources Intern who is ready to apply knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. This internship will help you acquire HR skills and provide you with knowledge of various HR strategies. You will assist in all levels of HR operations, recruitment processes, employee relations, and legal compliance. You will also have administrative duties in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. This internship will be a blend of strategic assignments and administrative work to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
  • Communicate with public services when necessary
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews

  • Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
  • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS Powerpoint, in particular)
  • Familiarity with social media recruiting
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • CIPD certification is an advantage
  • Experience with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws
