We are looking for a Network Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our organization's network infrastructure. This includes supporting LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks, as well as ensuring network security and performance. The Network Support Engineer will work closely with other IT professionals to resolve network issues, implement new technologies, and provide technical support to end-users.
The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and software, and be able to diagnose and resolve complex network problems. They should also possess excellent communication skills, as they will be required to interact with both technical and non-technical staff. The role may involve working outside of normal business hours to perform maintenance or respond to emergencies.
Key responsibilities include configuring and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices; monitoring network performance and availability; and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures. The Network Support Engineer will also assist in planning and implementing network upgrades and expansions, as well as documenting network configurations and procedures.
