We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Secretary General to lead and develop our organization in a strategic and sustainable way. As Secretary General, you will be the highest-ranking executive in the organization and have overall responsibility for ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with the board's decisions, the organization's statutes, and long-term goals. You will act as a link between the board and operational activities, and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Your main tasks include leading the organization's daily work, developing and implementing strategies, ensuring financial stability, and representing the organization in various contexts. You will have personnel responsibility and work to create a positive work environment where employees thrive and grow. You are also expected to actively identify new opportunities for growth and impact, and to ensure that the organization's values permeate all activities. We are looking for someone with documented experience in high-level leadership, preferably within the nonprofit sector or another complex organization. You are a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships. You are results-oriented, structured, and have a strong sense of responsibility. Experience working with boards, budget responsibility, and change management is an advantage. The position requires a good understanding of social issues and a strong commitment to the organization's mission. You should have a university degree in a relevant field and be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
